I took some manicotti shells and filled them with hamburger, cheese and jalapeños then wrapped them in bacon and topped them with Traeger Beef rub and threw them on the smoker.
I used Signature Traeger pellets and set my smoker to 350 until these smoked shotgun shells reached an internal temperature of about 160 degrees.
Ingredients
- 1 box of manicotti shells
- 1 pound of ground beef
- 1 package of regular cut bacon
- 1 cup of cheddar cheese
- 1 cup of jarred jalapeños
- Traeger Beef Rub
Prepping Instructions
- Mix your ground beef, cheddar cheese and some Traeger Beef Rub in a bowl
- Fill manicotti shells with your ground beef mixture
- Wrap manicotti shells in bacon (2 to 3 slices per shell) and coat with Traeger Beef Rub
Smoking Instructions
- Pre heat your smoker to 350 degrees
- Place shotgun shells in your smoker
- Once your shotgun shells reach 160 degrees, remove from smoker and let rest for at least 10 minutes
