Ever crave a t bone steak but want to add a little something to it? This smoked T Bone steak recipe is guaranteed to hit the spot.
All you have to do it hit your T Bone steak with some seasoning, throw a wood chunk on the BBQ and let the smoke penetrate it for 20 minutes or so. Then you just have to sear it off and let it rest with some compound butter on top of it.

T Bone Steak Ingredients
- 1 T Bone steak (as or as many as you want)
- Worchester sauce
- Traeger Beef Rub
- Kosher salt
- Black pepper
- Compound butter ( I used a garlic butter)
T Bone Steak Prep
- Cover your steak with Worchester sauce
- Sprinkle on kosher salt and black pepper to taste
- Give a medium coat of your favorite beef rub
- Be sure to season all sides
Smoking Instructions
- Place charcoal on one side of your BBQ and get the temperature up to 275 degrees
- Add your wood chunk on top of your fire
- Place your T Bone steaks on the cool side of the BBQ
- Once your T Bone steaks reach 120 degrees internally, sear them directly over the fire for about 1 minute on each side
- Remove T Bone steaks from fire, top with your compound butter and let them rest for 10 to 15 minutes
